Storm Select is a program that believes soccer is an opportunity to encourage players to grow not just technically, tactically, physically, or psychologically, but also in character, discipline, dedication, respect, and fair play. We want to help each and every player reach the maximum potential in sport. This particular academy program is a 4 week recreational camp program run by the Colorado Storm Competitive directors and coaching staff to give you an idea about the benefits of the competitive program. The camp will include skill development in the areas of dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and more. This will be done through fun, engaging, and challenging activities, designed for each specific group. |

CYS Cup results are in and the champions were crowned. After a fun filled and soccer filled weekend for many of our teams there were 4 teams that made it to the finals.
We are very proud of all the teams, but would like to comment on the success of 4 in particular.
Jody McGuire’s U9 Fury boys and Clint Shade’s U9 Jaguars boys teams both finished 2nd in their respective Silver divisions. Both teams performed well over the weekend and came up against some tough teams in the finals. The club is proud of you guys. Thanks for representing us well.
In the U10 division, Bryan Johnston’s U10 Lightning Boys finished second in their division of the CYS cup losing just the one game in their pool play. The boys were proud of their weekend, but feel they could have won the gold medal even though they will settle for the silver.
Tia Loera’s U9 Diamond Girls who are actually a bunch of U8 girls playing up in the Bronze division and performed well all weekend allowing only 1 goal on the weekend. The girls played Real in their pool play and then again in the final beating them 2-0. The Gold medal is a great compliment to the well rounded weekend for these girls.
We are very proud of all of these teams and wish them well in the remaining part of their seasons.

Congratulations to our U11 Girls Royal for winning the Presidents Cup this past Fall. The girls won the tournament with a convincing victory in the final.
They played Storm Academy FC and found a way to get the victory with a 4-2 scoreline. This was a bit of revenge as the girls had lost 3-0 previously in the tournament. Congrats ladies, we are proud of you.
